the day has been chosen. we are going to get married. yes, i know it's more than a year away. but it's for a reason. actually more than one reason. #1, we will be going through 6 months worth of pre-marital counseling. #2, i've always wanted to get married on our actual anniversary. #3, i am only getting married ONE time - this means my OCD self wants everything to be perfect & 16 months allows me ample time to change my mind 5000 times.
in a jist, i just want a simple wedding. we are not inviting a lot of people. just people that have been there for us through our entire relationship...the bad, the good. i want jackson to walk me down the aisle and "give me away" to his daddy. i considered my real dad and billy (pretty much my step dad of 21 years) both walking me down. but, i dunno...just seems right with my kiddo. i haven't thought about bridesmaids/maid of honor...i'd love my best friend to be my MOH but i'm not sure that is feasible :( jeff will have harvey as his best man, and my cousins joe & ronnie as his groomsmen.
music was the easiest choice for me. i won't share that yet though ;) i also need to think of something to include my nana. that is so important to me. if y'all have any ideas of how to do like an "in memory of" or something special wedding-style, please share!!
i just wanted to do an official blog post to say..."we've picked a date" :) we are planning on getting some pics done soon (not really engagement because that was forever ago...but more like a save-the-date session). i'm planning on ordering save the date magnets once we get our pics back.
i am so happy. scared. emotional. sooo many feelings, but i really can't wait to be Mrs. Fulmer <3
