day fifteen: "a song that makes you cry, and why"
another easy question. "my angel" by kellie pickler. i swear that song was written about me and my nana. if you ever have a chance to listen, pull it up on youtube. i cry every time i hear it because the memories just all come at once. i was so overwhelmed with tears the first time i heard it, and the effect isn't any different 1,000 listens later. she was my angel here on Earth and is now my angel in Heaven. I miss her so much and can't wait to be reunited with her one day. i know she is watching over me and now Jackson too. speaking of that - if she were alive and here to be in Jackson's life..he would be the apple of her eye, as I was hers. but jackson knows about her...i take him to her grave site, and we talk to her..i tell him that she is his great nana. he has a picture of her hanging in his play room and he knows who is in the picture. he knows she is our angel.
