other than the obvious reasons - income for my family, having a career that will always be needed, and amazing benefits; becoming a teacher would satisfy the biggest dream of all in my life: making a difference in the lives of children. children are our future. if we teach them, guide them, love them the world would be a much better place. also - teaching isn't always about educating the student. the student teaches you many, many things...about life, happiness, and a life of happiness. so many children are "forgotten" or "lost" in this crazy place we call home. all they need are good teachers to guide them and lead them in the right direction. God knows it takes a special person to truly be a great teacher. you can't possibly do your job correctly if you don't LOVE what you do. i can't wait to love what i do...that's for sure.
